At the recent Frankfurt Motor Show, Kia revealed the all new Kia Soul 2014 which will go on sale in Europe in 2014. The 2014 Kia Soul, while staying true to its original iconic design, has adopted an all new platform based largely on the latest Kia cee’d which has resulted in much improved ride and handling. As we have seen with other recent model upgrades in the Kia range, the Kia Soul 2014 provides a higher standard of refinement, coupled with an upgraded suspension, stiffer body shell and improved sound proofing. Being slightly larger than its predecessor and with a longer wheel base and wider track has enabled the Kia Soul 2014 to provide greater cabin space and cargo capacity which will inevitably open the Kia Soul 2014 to a new range of purchasers in the competitive Compact SUV market.

As would be expected, the new Kia Soul 2014 has improved environmental performance through lower overall emissions  from the tried and tested 1.6 litre GDI petrol and CRDi diesel engines which are complemented by either a six speed manual or automatic transmission. Both engines have previously been available in the outgoing model.

With its large front windscreen the Kia Soul 2014 offers the driver optimum visibility while the tapered rear windows provide a retro style appearance. With allow wheels and side skirts and the now signature front grill the Kia Soul 2014 will allow the purchaser the opportunity to individualise their purchase to suit their tastes.
