The 2011 Australian International Motor Show – Melbourne

After two years, on July 1st 2011, the Australian International Motor Show returns to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Wharf, Melbourne.

Boasting 30% more exhibition space than last years, and a wider range of manufacturers including Mercedes Benz, the motor show promises a return to its hey day with concept cars galore.

BMW, a longtime motor show stalwart, will display the, futuristic four seater Vision EfficientDynamics concept car, with its three cylinder turbo diesel engine generating 241kw of power, fuel consumption of 3.76 litres per 100 kilometres and a 0 to 100 kilometres per hour acceleration of 4.8 seconds this is one car sure to impress. While at the other end of the spectrum will be Suzuki who will display its Swift S concept, in only its second outing since the Geneva Motor Show.

Major manufacturers such as Ford, Holden, Mazda, Toyota, Subaru, Mitsubishi and Nissan will have a presence, as will the luxury brands of Lamborghini, Bentley, Porsche and Maserati.

With such an impressive line up you would anticipate that this years motor show will exceed expectations.
